Fife has its share of unusually shaped rocks. Last Sunday morning I had a short paddle out of St Andrews Bay. It was distinctly windier than forecast- a good Force 5 pushed me along towards Boarhills. Along this stretch of coast, probably the prettiest in Fife, is the Rock and Spindle.
Nearer Boarhills is the Buddo Rock.
Unfortunately I only had time for a quick outing, and I'd given the Maiden Rock too wide a berth to photograph it.
